Chaz & Sara {Photography Workshop} Union Station – Los Angeles, California

January 31st, 2011 by Lukas VanDyke

Suzy and I get to spend most weekends photographing gorgeous brides, their dashing grooms, and hanging out with all their peeps. But, last weekend was a little different. We got to photograph a gorgeous bride with her dashing groom. But last weekend it was with all our peeps. Or at least our people in the sense that everyone was a photographer except the bride and groom. I can’t tell you how much I love teaching photo workshops, and seeing peoples faces light up as new information clicks and all of a sudden they are excited about making better images. It’s really fun having that connection! Thanks all of you who came to the workshop! I should have the behind the scenes shots, and some of all your photos up in the next few days.

Sara, who was our bride for the day, I actually only met a few weeks ago at a wedding we shot. She was a bridesmaid at that wedding, but her and Chaz have only been married for about 6 months now. She was quick to respond when I put the call out looking for volunteers to help at the workshop and seemed like the best match! I’m super glad it worked out for you guys to come! You should have a lot of choices for a big framed print above your fireplace. ;) ;)

The below photos are a mix of the ones Suzy and I took over the afternoon, so enjoy and check back in the next couple days for a lot more cool stuff coming up on the blog!
