Candyland Inspired Rehearsal Dinner Idea

December 2nd, 2011 by Susannah VanDyke

The night before the big day: A bride-to-be in a red dress, pearl necklace, and sparkly heels. Turquoise, blush pink, hints of gold and silver all coming together in a colorful wonderland. Lollies, licorice, chocolate, suckers. Sweet childhood memories wrapped in chic evening elegance. Gingerbread soap bar takeaway favors & DIY bouquet. Steamy hot chocolate bar. Did I mention candy? Who wouldn’t want such a sweet rehearsal dinner?

My amazingly creative friend Miriam from Miriam Corona Events dreamed up this shoot, and it was just amazing seeing it in real life this past Tuesday. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a room with so many talented & creative people – you all are awesome!!
