Ok all you digital SLR users! It’s time to get together and create some GREAT images. I get a good amount of request’s from people who want to tag along on my shoots, or give them some tips on photography. So here’s the deal. I’m creating a photo shoot where everyone can tag along on as well as take photos. It’s called a workshop! It’s your chance to take that dusty SLR off the shelf, turn it on, and learn how to create some beautiful eye candy! Or for those of you who treasure your camera and give it the proper wear and tear it deserves, it’s the time to up the quality of your results.
The class will be separated into two back to back sections. Part one will focus on the ins and outs of an SLR camera, and part two will be focused on shooting. You can come to either or both. It will be $75 for one section or $125 for both sections.
PART ONE (9:30 – 12:30) We’ll talk about Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Kelvin Temperature, and Focus Points. I will go into how how these features work together to create images. This is the time to bring your camera and your manual so we can play with all the settings.
LUNCH (12:30 – 1:30)
PART TWO (1:30 – 4:00) This is where we will get into the nuts and bolts of shooting. We’ll go over catch light, posing, reflectors, depth of field in a very hands on kind of atmosphere. I’ll plan to have a model there to practice on as we head outside to create some images.
If you’re interested or know a family member or friend who is interested please send them to my site to sign up. I’m going to keep it small so the spots may not last very long.
