So how does one describe oneself in a short little page on a website? At a wedding I did a number of years ago, the bride in a very complimentary way called me an “extroverted introvert.” I think that might just sum up my personality. I LOVE meeting new people and getting to know their little quirks and stories and the details of their lives. But I also love being alone to re-charge, think, and dream up new ideas for whatever is next in my life.
In High School and throughout my college years, I worked a wide variety of different jobs, all of which I enjoyed in various degrees. Part way through college, I started taking pictures for fun and got addicted. The excitement of weddings, the romance of engagement sessions, the beauty in portraits, the lights, the colors and the details were all just too wonderful to stop. Eventually, I left my stable, good paying, day job and opened my own studio. It’s too exciting doing something with no limits and I don’t think I could ever go back!
On an altogether different note, above and beyond my passion for image creation, is my love for Jesus Christ and the Church. I was convicted of my sins at a young age, turned my life to Christ and live, move, breathe, and make all my decisions based on the Bible. In addition to the explosion of color within the images on my blog, you might also note I write “thoughts” articles every so often. It’s just a little way for me to show those who are interested what’s on my heart.
Please poke around the site and check out all the pages. I have a ton of images and update a few times a week, so there should never be an end of photos to inspire you the next time we meet for a shoot!
