Jeremy & Jessica: Wedding by Susannah!

A few years ago me and my now brother-in-law Travis and I were about to move into a house and we wanted a third roommate. I had only met Jeremy 2 or 3 times before, but he had left a good impression. I suggested to Travis we call him up and see if he wanted to move in with us. A few minutes later I called him and he committed right then and there on the phone (I later found out that might have been related to all the shootings on his street in downtown L.A. that week). A few days later we were all roommates! It was a great year and we all became very good friends. A little over a year later Jeremy was in my wedding, and now after eight months of marriage I got to be in his wedding!

Since I was in the wedding I obviously couldn’t photograph it. So after second shooting for me for only a dozen or so weddings, Suzy took the plunge and photographed Jeremy & Jessica’s wedding! I just need to say that I have a super talented wife! She went from not knowing what an SLR camera was to shooting full manually with two cameras and getting some great photos all with an adorable dimple filled smile in about 1/4 of the time it took me to learn!

    May I add my compliments on the terrific pictures you, Suzy, took of the kid’s wedding as I am sure they will enjoy them for many years to come. Too bad that the whole world can’t be as happy as the kids were on their day!!!! Both you and your husband are wonderful and talented photographers who have the knack of catching the mood, emotion, and intensity of the moment. That is very rare to find.
