Illustration Challenge
Earlier today I was reading my friend Tim Challies blog. As I went through his five most recent posts, photos to illustrate each one started to pop into my head. Now Tim is one of the better writers I know and has one of the more popular blogs on the internet, so by no means do his posts need photos. But, I will use any excuse I can get to pull out my camera. So although I had a rather busy afternoon I decided to snap a few illustrations here and there as I had time. I figured it would be good creative practice to see what I could come up with in a short amount of time.
Below are the images I created with a link to the post. Some are better than others, but they were all created this afternoon. =) If you don’t already read Challies.com this is your chance to start!

Loved the images – especially the old book with the well-worn toothpick illustrating “no day without its line.” I read Tim’s blog daily as well as yours and enjoy the beautiful photography. Thanks!

wow – pretty nice work for only a short space of time. esp like the Bible with the toothpick. makes me think of “Thy Words were found and I did eat them and they were to me a joy and rejoicing of my heart.”

Nice pix.
Somehow, I pictured the toothpick sticking out the side, not the top or bottom of the pages.

I always look at yours but never comment! Thats changing now!
Ok…this is sweet, Lukas- On that 4th picture, it took me a minute to realize that those are all people from Westside! What a great idea, it looks so cool!!
